Tracking scattered storms this evening, lower chances tomorrow
TONIGHT: Scattered showers and thunderstorms through midnight, becoming mostly cloudy by dawn. Lows in the low 70s.
TOMORROW: Partly cloudy with a few isolated storms possible. Highs in the upper 80s.
EXTENDED: The front responsible for this week's showers and thunderstorms will finally lift north by the end of the week, taking showers and thunderstorms with it by Thursday evening. Temperatures gradually warm toward the end of the week with highs getting up to the low 90s. We'll dry out with high pressure building overhead, but humidity sticks around allowing heat indices to climb back into the 98-100 degree range. Next week starts off hot on Monday, but the upper level pattern will become more northwesterly by the middle of the week, increasing storm chances and cooling temperatures back into the 80s for highs.
