Tracking one last day with less humidity

HOT WEATHER

MONDAY: Today might feel a little warmer without the help of a breeze we enjoyed keeping things mixed up yesterday. Otherwise, a fairly similar day with highs near 90 and the humidity being held in check.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies remain overnight as lows cool off to near 70.

EXTENDED: We’ll be tracking some showers out west that might make us break out the umbrellas tomorrow morning. Tuesday afternoon looks dry though with highs creeping into the low 90’s as we welcome back the humidity. A frontal boundary will slide south Wednesday, bringing shower and thunderstorm chances back. Folks along and north of I-70 look to see the best shot at them, but most will clear up by the evening. It’s going be getting even warmer from Thursday on, with highs in the middle 90’s. Factoring in the typical Mid-Missouri mugginess, heat indices will soar into the 100-110 range. This trend looks like it will keep up through the weekend and possibly longer than that with little to no rain chances.
