Layers needed Wednesday morning with frigid wind chills early

TONIGHT: Mostly clear to partly cloudy. Bitterly cold with lows in the teens and wind chills in the single digits.

WEDNESDAY: Starting off cold with clouds increasing during the day. Highs in the low 40s.

EXTENDED: Overall, we're entering a pretty dry pattern across Mid-Missouri through the first half of the weekend. Temperatures will be in the 40s for highs each day through Sunday, with lows back into the 20s by Wednesday night. Another disturbance tries to approach the area on Sunday, increasing clouds and perhaps bringing a chance for rain showers. Temperatures look to bounce back closer to normal early next week with the jet stream bringing in southwest winds.
