Columbia police investigate shots fired on Scott Boulevard

Police respond to the area of Scott Boulevard and Arlene Drive early Friday morning for a shots-fired call.

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Columbia Police Department confirmed shots were fired near Scott Boulevard and Arlene Drive early Friday morning.

Multiple people in the area reported hearing gunshots around 3:20 a.m. Friday.

According to a police sergeant at the scene, there were no injuries reported, but there was residential property damage. Police found evidence of at least 30 rounds fired.

As of 4:15 a.m., no suspects were in custody.

ABC 17 News crews at the scene saw around five patrol cars. Officers in the area had flashlights and there were evidence markers in the street.
