Officers identified a witness who state the Toyota SUV was traveling east on Caulfield Avenue that was being driven by Haynes.
The witness told police Haynes had an 11-year-old child on her lap as they pulled into the driveway. The witness said the Toyota accelerated, hitting the 12-year-old child who was standing behind the parked Chrysler, briefly pinning him between the two vehicles.
