KMIZ

RANDOLPH COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

State troopers say a Hallsville man was killed in a crash on Highway 63 near Moberly Thursday afternoon.

Missouri State Highway Patrol Troop B said 49-year-old Glenn Foster was driving northbound on 63 around 3:20 p.m. when his SUV sideswiped another SUV driven by 60-year-old Cindy Carroll, of Clarence.

According to the crash report, Foster's vehicle skidded, traveled across the highway, hit the median and went airborne. Troopers said his SUV went off the west side of the road and overturned.

The patrol said Foster was thrown from his vehicle. Troopers said the Randolph County Assistant Coroner pronounced him dead at 4:15 p.m.

The report said Foster was not wearing a seatbelt.

Carroll's vehicle had minor damage from the crash, the patrol said.

Troopers said crews with the Randolph County Sheriff's Office, Randolph County Ambulance and Randolph County Fire Department responded to the wreck.
