Home damaged by gunfire in west Columbia

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A home was damaged when shots were fired Thurday morning in west Columbia, police said.

Officers were sent to the 3500 block of Zinnia Drive at about 6:50 a.m. and found several shell casings, the Columbia Police Department said in a news release. Police also found damage to a residence.

No injuries were reported.

The department said it had no other details to report and the investigation was ongoing.
