COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Columbia police arrested a woman in connection with a stabbing in front of Lowe's on Conley Road.

It happened just before 3 p.m. Tuesday. Police said they found a 43-year-old woman with non-life threatening injuries. An ambulance took her to a hospital.

Police said they arrested Gentara Bennett, 19, of Columbia. Officers found Bennett inside Sam's Club, which is also located on Conley Road.

Investigators said it's unknown what weapon was used in the attack. They also said there is no known connection between Bennett and the victim.

Officers and a crime scene van were on the scene. Police had put up crime scene tape outside the store. Officers were investigating a dark-colored sedan inside the crime scene tape.
