TUESDAY UPDATES: No new cases in Boone, Callaway, Cole counties
COVID-19 case numbers might differ among state and local health authorities because of issues with reporting and address verification.

UPDATE 5:25 P.M.: Boone County reported no new COVID-19 cases Tuesday for the second day in a row.
The Columbia/Boone County Health Department reported 100 cases, a total that has stood since Sunday. Five of those cases are active, health officials said.
Cole County also reported no new cases Tuesday, with its total remaining at 54. Only three of those cases were active Tuesday.
Callaway County also reported no new cases. The county has 22 confirmed COVID-19 cases with only one active case.
The growth of COVID-19 cases has slowed in each county in recent weeks. Cole County and Callaway counties are operating under a statewide reopening order while Boone County is operating under a local order with restrictions that are more strict than those at the state level.
In Boone County, local restrictions drew a lawsuit this week filed on behalf of a daycare owner.
UPDATE 4:50 P.M.: Moberly Public Schools will not hold traditional summer school but will offer extended school year and credit recovery options, the district said Tuesday in a letter to parents.
The district cited continuing social distancing rules as its reason for not hosting traditional summer school. However, the district will offer an extended school year for some special education students and credit recovery education for high school students who need it.
Grab-and-go meals will continue during the summer.
The district said in its letter that instruction in the fall will pick up where the current school year left off when schools closed in March.
UPDATE 2:05 P.M.: Missouri's COVID-19 death total took one of its biggest jumps on Tuesday, which officials chalked up to a delay in reporting from one jurisdiction.
The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported 524 COVID-19-related deaths Tuesday, an increase of 36 from Monday's total. Total cases increased by 88, passing the 10,000 mark and landing at 10,006.
State health officials said a delay in reporting from a single jurisdiction led to the jump, with Tuesday's increase including deaths from that jurisdiction that happened between April 24 and Monday.
Tuesday's increase comes a day after the state recorded its smallest daily case increase in more than a month as cases went up by 74 on Monday. That's compared to a more than 300-case increase the Monday before as test results from a hot spot meat packing plant in northwest Missouri were tallied.
St. Louis County continues to lead the state in cases and deaths, reporting nearly 3,900 cases Tuesday and 278 of the state's deaths. Saline County continued to be a hot spot in Mid-Missouri, with the state confirming 219 cases as of Tuesday.
The Missouri Hospital Association reported 749 patients were hospitalized as of Monday, an increase of 75 in a 24-hour span. Statistics for Tuesday had not been posted. Of those patients, 119 were on ventilators.
The association says the state has nearly 1,900 machines available.
Earlier Tuesday, The Associated Press reported that 34 inmates at the Lincoln County Jail in eastern Missouri and five staff members had tested positive for COVID-19. It wasn't clear how many of those results were reported Monday or Tuesday.
UPDATE 8:54 A.M.: The Pettis County Health Center said Monday that a resident has died from COVID-19.
According to a Facebook post from the health center, the county added 10 new novel coronavirus cases since Thursday.
It's unclear from the post when the person died from the virus. It also shows one person is hospitalized with COVID-19 and 20 others have since recovered.
Pettis County has added 19 COVID-19 cases in the past week.
At least six people have died from coronavirus in Mid-Missouri. Boone, Cole, Callaway, Pulasi, as well as Camden counties have confirmed virus-related deaths.
ORIGINAL: The Missouri State Board of Education is set to give a COVID-19 update at its meeting Tuesday morning.
According to the meeting agenda, the board will continue discussions on the immediate, current and future response to the pandemic with a focus on the transition plan to reopen schools.
The board could also get an update on the fall start date after requesting it at the April 27 meeting.
The State Board of Education meeting will start at 10 a.m.
It will be streamed on the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's website.
