More than 350 food plant employees test positive for COVID-19

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (KMIZ)

As of Saturday morning, 359 employees and contract workers of Triumph Foods tested positive for COVID-19.

According to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, the employees of the St. Joseph food plant were tested for the virus without showing any related symptoms to the virus.

DHSS partnered with the City of St. Joseph Health Department, Northwest Health Services and Mosaic Life Care to offer COVID-19 testing to all employees and contract staff at Triumph Foods.

More than 2,000 employees of the plant have been tested for the virus.
