Tracking severe storms with damaging winds this evening

TONIGHT: Strong storms through 9PM, becoming mostly cloudy and cooler. Storms this evening will bring the threat of damaging winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes. Lows in the low 50s.

TOMORROW: Mostly cloudy, breezy, and chilly with highs in the mid-50s. Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms likely.

EXTENDED: As strong low pressure moves out of Mid-Missouri by Wednesday night, temperatures cool with clearing skies into early Thursday. Sunshine returns on Thursday with temperatures recovering into the upper 60s to around 70. The gradual warm up continues into the weekend with mid-70s and sunshine on Friday, with highs soaring into the low 80s by Saturday. A few disturbances make their way across Missouri from Saturday night into early next week, increasing our rain and storm chances, and dropping temperatures in to the lower 70s on Sunday.
