Tracking strong to severe storms for this afternoon

TUESDAY: This morning we saw a pretty even split of sunshine and cloud cover, and that will continue for a few more hours as a cold front approaches. This cold front could cause storms to push into the area as early as 2-3 pm, and these storms have the potential to be strong. Highs for the day will be in the upper 70s.

TONIGHT: These storms will hold together before exiting the area around 10pm. Overnight, we will remain calm with temperatures dropping into the low 50s.

EXTENDED: Light showers look to return Wednesday as moisture wraps around the backside of Tuesday's storm system. Clouds, rain, and winds out of the north will keep temperatures in the low 60's. Thursday will start a warming trend with temperatures warming back into the upper 60s, and conditions will dry out for the remainder of the week. This upcoming weekend is looking beautiful with temperatures on par with average or above average for this time of year.
