Police: Man arrested after crashing into central Columbia home early Thursday morning

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Columbia Police Department said Thursday morning that a man was arrested after allegedly crashing into a central Columbia home and leaving the scene.
Police department spokesman Jeff Pitts said officers arrested 19-year-old Rudolfo Jose Patricio on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident.
The crash was reported in the 400 block of W. Ash Street around 1:30 a.m.
Pitts said Patricio crashed into the residence and ran from the scene.
As of Thursday, Patricio had been held in Boone County Jail custody.
