Tracking overnight rain, dry and warm Thursday

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers becoming more numerous south of I-70. Lows in the lower 50s.

THURSDAY: Rain moves out early, remaining mostly cloudy. Highs in the upper 60s to around 70.

EXTENDED: Another cold front approaches the area on Thursday night into Friday, increasing our chances for yet again more rainfall. A few rumbles of thunder are possible, but no severe weather is expected. Highs on Friday will stay in the low to mid-60s. Rain amounts through Saturday morning will end up between 0.5" and 2.5", with the higher amounts south of I-70. We're cooler behind the front with temperatures in the upper 50s to around 60 on Saturday and the lower 60s with more sunshine on Sunday. Next week looks mild with highs in the 60s and 70s, and our next storm system by next Tuesday.
