Bundle up: wind chills in the teens Thursday morning

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy, chance of rain and a few flurries south of Highway 50. Lows in the low 30s.

THURSDAY: Clouds decrease, and it's cold with winds gusting up to 20 mph. Highs in the upper 30s.

EXTENDED: We stay cold on Friday with winds remaining out of the north, keeping highs in the upper 30s and lower 40s. The weekend will feature a brief warm up to the 50s before our next shot of Arctic air pushes in our next clipper system on Monday. This next cold air mass will bring highs down into the low 30s, with the potential for some snow on Monday, however, the details on timing, amounts, and location will need to be fine tuned over the weekend. Wind chills could drop down into the single digits on Monday and Tuesday nights.
