Morning frost gives way to warmth

TODAY: Frost in the morning, followed by sunshine. The freeze warning issued by the National Weather Service for mid-Missouri will expire at 9 AM. Highs in the low 60s.

TONIGHT: Clouds build in ahead of a cold front. Lows will be closer to average in the mid 40s.

EXTENDED: We are tracking the chance for showers and storms as this cold front passes through mid-Missouri. Severe weather is not expected, but temperatures will be cooler than normal in the wake of rain, near 60 for Sunday afternoon. Luckily for us, temperatures will continue warming near normal for this time of year. We're tracking temperatures in the 60s and 70s all week. Our next impactful system is set to move into the area Wednesday night into Thursday.
