Measurable rain and snow possible late this week

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with a chance of spotty showers north of I-70. Lows in the low to mid-30s.

WEDNESDAY: Partly cloudy and a bit warmer with highs in the low 50s. Spotty showers possible by mid-evening.

EXTENDED: Low pressure skirting us to the south on Thursday into Friday will bring a shot at measurable precipitation for Mid-Missouri through the end of the week. Rainfall begins Wednesday night into Thursday with temperatures remaining above freezing for most. Into Thursday night, there's a chance rain could change over to snow as temperatures drop across the northern third of the area, bringing minor snow accumulation through Friday morning. Impacts remain low at this time, and rain comes to an end early Friday afternoon. We get a nice break from the chilly week this weekend with highs getting back into the 60s on Saturday and Sunday with minimal rain chances either day. Next week also starts off mild with highs in the mid-upper 60s.
