Tracking another chilly start this morning
TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy to start will mix in some spotty sun this afternoon. Highs will still be cool, in the upper 40's to some low 50's.
TONIGHT: A disturbance will slide through this evening, but spotty sprinkles look to hold off until around midnight. It's a fairly small window of opportunity, but we could see a few flurries in our far northern counties with lows near freezing. Any of this activity should move east by dawn.
EXTENDED: The cool theme continues Wednesday with highs only managing the low 50's. That trend holds all the way through Friday. A better chance at picking up some measurable rain will move in Wednesday night and stick with us through the end of the workweek. During the overnight hours it will be possible to mix in a snowflake or two, but nothing troublesome. Northern portions of the state may pick up some light accumulations, but nothing in the viewing area. The weekend forecast is a bit up in the air, with light rain chances possible, but leaning dry. Temperatures will finally have a chance to get into the 60's by then.
