Police investigate shooting in south Columbia

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

There was a large police presence in south Columbia as police investigated a shooting Friday night.

The 3100 block of Green Meadows Road was blocked and crime scene tape was up around the road from the Lakota Coffee Shop parking lot to the apartment complex across the street.

An officer told ABC 17 News a vehicle was struck by gunfire.

There were at least seven police cruisers at the scene. ABC 17 News saw several officers walking around the area.

As of 6 p.m., it's unclear if anyone was hurt or if anyone is in custody.
