Judge sets trial date in Columbia murder case
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Columbia man accused of murdering his wife who hasn't been seen since October will head to trial in June.
Joseph Elledge was indicted on first degree murder charges in connection to the disappearance of his wife Mengqi Ji in February. Elledge reported her missing on Oct. 10.
Columbia Police and outside agencies have searched near Ashland Lake, the Pine Ridge Recreation Campground and the Lamine River at the Highway 41 bridge, the department said.
CPD said in March that it will continue searching the north and south banks of the Lamine River as the main location of interest.
Elledge's trial is set for June 2 in Boone County.
