Tracking clear and cool conditions to start the week, temps dropping by Thursday

TONIGHT: Conditions remain calm and clear tonight as they have throughout the afternoon. Temps overnight remain chilly, though slightly warmer than yesterday, hovering around the low 40s.

TOMORROW: Another clear day is in store as high pressure keeps our weather calm throughout the week. Expect temps to be a bit warmer tomorrow afternoon, though still remaining in the mid 60s. Sunshine will be prevalent with very little cloud cover expected.

EXTENDED: Tuesday looks to be a carbon copy of Monday, with blue sky and sunshine ruling the afternoon. Temps will remain consistent in the mid 60s, a bit above average for this time of year. Wednesday brings our only real chance for precipitation this week, as a cold front passes through late in the day into early Thursday. Depending on how much moisture is in the atmosphere, a few light showers could be possible Wednesday night. Otherwise, the main impact of the front will be on our temperatures. Expect temps to drop 10 to 15 degrees from Tuesday to Thursday, with highs in the upper 40s to low 50s. Overnight lows are expected to drop into the low 30s and even upper 20s, so make sure to bring plants inside, and be prepared to defrost your windshield if you have an early morning. Cloud cover is also expected to increase with the passing of the front, leaving Wednesday and Thursday partly to mostly cloudy. Sky conditions are expected to clear back up by Friday, remaining that way through the weekend. Temps also rebound back into the low 60s on Sunday.
