Tracking very light showers amid plenty of dry time this Halloween

TODAY: Light showers will be possible Saturday morning. Rain chances are highest in the west, but by 7 a.m. rain may be possible near HWY 63. Rain chances fall in the late morning and early afternoon, but start to tick up again this evening. Temperatures are expected to be capped in the low 70s thanks to clouds and a few showers.

TONIGHT: Trick-or-treat hours will likely start dry, and they may stay dry through sunset. Some shower chances will return, though, from south to north this evening. Spotty showers may be possible earlier, but rain chances generally increase after 7 p.m. Scattered light showers are expected off and on through sunrise on Sunday.

EXTENDED: Light rain chances persist through the day on Sunday, but chances are best in the morning. Sunday and Monday are mild, with highs near 70. Rain chances pick up again on Monday, likely in the evening. Some showers will be possible during the day, but storms moving in from the west will bring lightning, thunder, and heavier rainfall. This comes along a cold front that will drop high temperatures into the 60s for the rest of the week. Rain chances continue on Tuesday and possibly into Wednesday before dry weather returns.
