Tracking scattered rain chances through the Halloween weekend

TODAY: I'm tracking a mostly cloudy afternoon with southeasterly winds at 8-12 mph, helping temperatures warm into the upper 70s. A few isolated showers remain possible, but most will stay dry the majority of the day.

TONIGHT: I'm tracking stubborn clouds overnight as slightly better chances of showers enter Mid-Missouri. Temperatures will drop into the upper 50s by the end of the night as winds blow out of the southeast at 5-8 mph.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking off and on light showers through most of Halloween on Saturday as thick cloud cover remains and temperatures warm back into the low 70s. This will not be a washout, but slightly more consistent rain chances arrive late Saturday evening, lingering into Sunday morning. Clouds remain Sunday afternoon as temperatures warm back into the low 70s, but a more organized system arrives Monday and Tuesday that first brings more impressive rain totals, storms, and stronger winds, then drops temperatures back to around average for this time of year.
