A woman who is accused of manslaughter was indicted by a Boone County grand jury on Friday.

Felicia Lynne Hay, 35, of Columbia, is charged with first-degree involuntary manslaughter and first-degree assault in the November 2024 death of Antonio Davis. An arraignment is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 16. A court notice was sent to Hay on Friday.

Davis, 56, of Columbia, died in a hospital days after being pistol-whipped and hitting his head on the ground, according to previous reporting. Police say he developed a brain bleed.

Authorities claim Hay helped Alexander Aklan assault Davis and kicked him while he was on the ground.

Aklan is charged with second-degree murder, first-degree assault, second-degree drug trafficking, unlawful use of a weapon and armed criminal action.

Aklan's trial is scheduled for March 2027. Aklan and Hay are also named in a wrongful death lawsuit that Davis' daughter filed last month.
