18-year-old man seriously injured in Osage County crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

An 18-year-old man was seriously injured in a crash on Tuesday afternoon in Osage County, according to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The report says the Linn man drove his 2025 Dodge 1500 southbound on Route U, went off the right side of the road before overcorrecting and went off the left side of the road and hit a tree.

The man was taken to University Hospital in Columbia by an ambulance. The report says he was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The vehicle was totaled.

MSHP reports do not name those involved in crashes.
