The 65-year-old woman did not yield and was hit on her back left side by a 2018 Jeep Wrangler driven westbound by a 43-year-old Columbia woman. The Jeep then flipped and came to a stop upright. The Jeep also had two 12-year-old boys from Columbia and a dog inside. The dog was later thrown from the car due to the crash.

A 2022 Volkswagen Taos driven eastbound by a 51-year-old Linn woman was in the passing lane and hit debris from the two cars.

A 2024 Chevrolet Tahoe driven westbound by a 60-year-old Wright City woman hit the dog that was thrown from the Jeep.

The occupants of the Jeep were transported to Capital Region Medical Center for treatment.
