Man allegedly found with quarter-pound of meth, seven 55-gallon bags of marijuana branches in Maries County

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A man was arrested Wednesday in Maries County after he was allegedly found with a slew of drugs.

Billy Davis, of Dixon, was charged on Thursday with drug manufacturing and second-degree drug trafficking. He is being held without bond. A court appearance was scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The probable cause statement says a search warrant was served at Davis’ Route W home on Wednesday and authorities found:

  • About a quarter-pound of methamphetamine
  • Seven 55-gallon bags of marijuana branches
  • 33 marijuana plants
  • 13 one-gallon bags of processed marijuana   
  • Several bottle of alleged marijuana seeds
  • Grow lights, a scale and other drug paraphernalia
