Tracking a warm and windy Wednesday ahead of rain chances

TONIGHT: Increasing clouds with lows in the upper 60s to around 70.

TOMORROW: Mostly cloudy and breezy with highs in the lower to mid-80s. Winds could gust to 20 mph at times.

EXTENDED: We'll see morning temperatures linger near 70 degrees, with highs back into the lower to mid-80s despite the lack of sunshine. Light showers will be possible after midnight with the best chances of rain along Highway 65 on late Wednesday night into Thursday morning. By mid-late morning, we'll see rain become more area wide on Thursday, with a soggy afternoon and evening expected. Rain begins to taper off early Friday as our cold front moves south, leaving us with about 1.5-2" total rainfall. We'll have some lingering cloud cover, and temperatures struggle to get to 70 degrees despite late day clearing thanks to a northerly breeze. The weekend is looking quite pleasant with morning temperatures in the mid-50s and highs near 70.
