Tracking a gloomy start to the workweek

TODAY: Overcast and mild, with temperatures ranging from the low 60s north of I-70 to the upper 70s at the Lake of the Ozarks. Brief light rain or drizzle is possible.

TONIGHT: Clouds hold firm and temperatures remain steady overnight, settling in the mid-60s.

EXTENDED: The workweek will start off fairly gloomy with heavy cloud cover and light rain chances through early Tuesday. Clouds slowly start to break up tomorrow, and a clearer start on Wednesday will allow low temperatures to drop to the upper 40s in northern Missouri. Sunshine finally returns mid to late week, and temperatures remain cool in the low to mid 70s through Friday. Our next rain chances roll in this weekend, bringing a mild warmup to the low 80s.
