Tracking showers throughout the week, heat making a return

TONIGHT: Slight chance for pop-up showers this evening, though most will look to stay dry after a comfortable afternoon. Lows in the mid 60s.

TOMORROW: Temps begin to climb once again tomorrow afternoon, approaching the mid to upper 80s. A chance for some lingering showers to our north is possible in the morning, but we'll be dry by the afternoon. Expect partly cloudy skies throughout the day.

EXTENDED: Rain chances continue to be on and off throughout the week, but timing has shifted the best chance for showers more towards Wednesday. Expect some pop-ups to develop late Tuesday, ahead of a more organized system Wednesday morning. Showers continue to hover north of I-70 throughout the week, with some spots of heavier rainfall possible. Thursday carries another potential for rain, but things look to dry out by Friday. Our next chance for rainfall looks to be Sunday afternoon, which has the potential to be more widespread. As for temperatures, Tuesday will climb back into the lower 90s, with temps holding strong in that range until Friday. The cool down looks a bit later than anticipated, not truly impacting our temperatures until Saturday, where we drop into the upper 70s. Partly cloudy skies are expected in between rain showers this week.
