No injuries reported in fire at Fulton business

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

No injuries were reported after a fire occurred Thursday in the 2400 block of North Bluff Street in Fulton, according to a press release from the Fulton Fire Department.

The release says crews were called at 6:34 p.m. and ended up seeing smoke coming from the roof. A tree limb was on top of the roof and a power line was “pinned” underneath it, the release says.

The cause of the fire was determined to be “natural,” the release says. The fire was found in the attic and was brought under control in about seven minutes, the release says.

The business was not named in the release, though FFD wrote that it was closed when the fire started.
