Tracking a cooler end to our Labor Day weekend, chance for isolated showers tonight

TONIGHT: I'm tracking a chance for showers in our western counties, though most should stay dry this evening. Temps will cool a bit more overnight, dropping to the mid 60s.

TOMORROW: A slight chance exists for some lingering showers to the north to start our Labor Day, but most will remain dry and skies will clear by the afternoon. Now that the cold front has had its chance to fully pass through, we'll enjoy some cooler temps in the upper 80s. All in all, it'll be a great day to get outside and enjoy the end of the holiday weekend.

EXTENDED: Our cooler pattern is short lived as temps pick right back up into the mid 90s Tuesday and Wednesday. For now, we're out of the extreme heat range, but we'll be watching to see if humidity increases for either of those days, which could put heat indexes back into the mid 100 degree range. Luckily, this next bout of heat will disappear rather quickly, as an active weather pattern moves in late Wednesday. This will drop temps down to the low to mid 80s into Sunday, but does bring the chance for some showers and storms, particularly late Wednesday into Early Thursday. Conditions look to clear by Friday, and we'll enjoy a cooler and dry weekend.
