Man seriously hurt in Miller County crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 34-year-old St. Robert man was seriously hurt during a crash in Miller County just before 2:15 p.m. Sunday.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the man was driving a 2011 Harley-Davidson motorcycle south on Highway 17 near Livingston Road when he hit a deer in the road.

The crash caused the motorcycle to go off the road, throwing the man from the bike.

The man was flown to University Hospital with serious injuries.

The report states the man was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The motorcycle was totaled.
