Tracking sunny skies today, low chance for storms tomorrow

THIS AFTERNOON: Sunny and warmer, with near-average temperatures in the upper 80s.

TONIGHT: Increasing clouds, with a spot shower possible after sunset. Lows fall to the upper 60s.

EXTENDED: Scattered showers and storms may continue into Wednesday morning south of Hwy 50, but many will stay dry. Highs climb to the upper 80s with dry time midday. A cold front will arrive late in the afternoon, setting off another round of scattered storms, a few of which could produce strong winds and small hail. Rain exits quickly Wednesday night, and milder weather is expected to close out the week, with highs in the mid-80s through Friday. Temperatures look to rise a few degrees this weekend as high pressure expands from the south, pushing highs into the low 90s.
