Tracking increasing clouds ahead of chances for showers and storms to start the week

TODAY: I'm tracking a sunny start to the day as temperatures begin in the low 60s. By the afternoon hours, temperatures are only expected to warm up into the low 80s as winds blow out of the north at 5-10 mph. During the afternoon hours, cloud cover will be gradually increasing ahead of slightly better chances for precipitation.

TONIGHT: I'm tracking a low chance for scattered light showers throughout the evening hours, but widespread activity is not expected at this time. This chance will continue overnight as temperatures drop into the low to mid 60s. Winds will be shifting into the southeast, blowing at 5-10 mph.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking a slightly higher chance of running into heavier showers and rumbles of thunder come Monday morning, but this activity will start to clear by the early afternoon hours. This will keep temperatures in the low 80s for the start of the week, but by Tuesday, the mid-80s will make a return. More chances for isolated showers and storms will arrive Tuesday night into Wednesday morning before sunshine fully returns for Thursday and Friday. Temperatures throughout this entire timeframe will continue to warm into the mid-to-upper 80s each afternoon, including Saturday, when another chance of isolated to scattered showers and storms will be possible.
