A Missouri State Highway Patol Trooper was cited by Lake Ozark police for resisting arrest on July 11.

Travis Michael Wood, of Kirksville, was cited at 12:45 a.m. July 11 in the 1300 block of Bagnell Dam Boulevard. He has an initial court appearance scheduled for 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 17 at the Miller County Courthouse.

MSHP spokesman Justin Dunn confirmed that Wood is assigned to Troop B, which covers much of northern and northeast Missouri. Wood remains on duty.

A previous press release from MSHP shows that Wood graduated from the patrol’s Law Enforcement Academy on June 24, 2022, and began working on July 11, 2022.  That release said he was assigned to Adair and Schuyler counties.
