Man seriously hurt in Camden County crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 75-year-old Camdenton man was seriously hurt in a crash in Camden County at 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the man was driving a 2021 BMW R9T motorcycle on Resort Road, south of Barnes Hollow Dr., when he crossed the center line and hit a 2022 Lexus NX350, driven by a 70-year-old Warsaw, Illinois woman, head-on.

The man was taken to Lake Regional Hospital by ambulance with serious injuries. The woman was not hurt, according to the report.

Both the car and motorcycle had moderate damage.

The report states the man was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The woman was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
