4-year-old seriously hurt in Montgomery County crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 4-year-old Laddonia boy was seriously hurt in a crash in Montgomery County just after 4:30 p.m. Tuesday

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the crash occurred at W. Hudson St. and N. Madison St. and involved two vehicles.

The report states a 23-year-old Wellsville man was driving a 2008 Dodge Ram trying to make a right turn as a 2013 Dodge Dart, driven by a 27-year-old Laddonia man with the boy in the car, crossed the center of the road.

The front end of the Dodge Dart hit the driver's side of the Dodge Ram.

The boy was taken to University Hospital by ambulance with serious injuries. The 27-year-old was taken to University Hospital by ambulance with moderate injuries.

The report states that neither the boy nor the 27-year-old was wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.

The Dodge Dart was totaled, while the Dodge Ram had moderate damage.
