Mizzou lands at No. 25 in USA Today’s Coaches Poll

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Mizzou football is one of nine Southeastern Conference team ranked in USA Today's Preseason Coaches Poll, which came out on Tuesday morning.

The Tigers earned a preseason No. 25 ranking, as the program will head into its seventh season under the leadership of head coach Eli Drinkwitz. You can find a full look at the Top-25 below.

If the USA Today Coaches Poll tells us anything, it is sure to be a tough conference slate for the Tigers, in 2026. Five of Mizzou's nine SEC opponents are preseason Top-25 squads: Georgia, Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma and Ole Miss. That means, in order to finish with at least eight wins, Coach Eli and his squad will need to beat at least one preseason Top-10 team.
