Tracking more warm and dry weather with few storm chances

TODAY: Tuesday is another sunny and warm day, with high temperatures verging on 90 degrees. Some fog is possible early, but we expect sunny skies and light east northeast winds for most of the day.

TONIGHT: Skies remain clear overnight, as temperatures cool into the 70s just before midnight.

EXTENDED: Wednesday is just as warm and bright for most, but spotty thunderstorms may be possible by the afternoon in the south. The best chance for storms will be along and south of Highway 50. On Thursday, these isolated storms become more likely for all, but plenty of dry time will be expected for most of the day. These storms will be isolated and pulse up and down without becoming severe each day. This happens one more time on Friday, but the batch of storms shifts northeast, likely omitting folks in the south and west. Through this, highs remain in the upper 80s to near 90, with lows near 70 overnight. The forecast warms a bit into the weekend, as highs reach further into the low 90s. Humidity will be tolerable as dewpoints generally remain in the 60s Tuesday and Wednesday, but rain could bump these into the low 70s Thursday and Friday. Dewpoints may linger near 70 into the weekend, keeping humidity a feature in the forecast.
