Flood Warning issued June 25 at 7:37PM CDT until June 27 at 12:00PM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill has
issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri…

Petite Saline Creek near Boonville affecting Cooper County.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Petite Saline Creek near Boonville.

* WHEN…Until Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 16.0 feet, Low lying woodlands and fields near the
creek flood. At 19.5 feet, The creek floods U Highway about 4 miles
southeast of Boonville.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 6:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 14.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
this evening to a crest of 21.0 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It
will then fall below flood stage early Saturday morning.
– Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
