Laclede County in southwestern Missouri…
* Until 330 AM CDT Monday.
* At 923 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 3 inches in 1
hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Seasons, Lake Ozark, Laurie, Conway, Macks Creek, Morgan, Sunrise
Beach, St. Elizabeth, Linn Creek, Tuscumbia, Barnett,
Phillipsburg, Stoutland, Bennett Springs, Olean, Climax Springs,
Bagnell, Brumley, Twin Bridges, Lakeside, Decaturville, Eldridge,
Montreal, Roach, Old Linn Creek, Freedom, Green Bay Terrace, Wet
Glaize, Hurricane Deck, Sleeper, Kaiser, Purvis, Leadmine,
Barnumton and Branch.
This includes the following low water crossings…
Dry Auglaize Creek at Freedom Ridge Road, Saline Creek at Square
Line Road, Wet Glaize at Carrol Cave Road, Macks Creek at Coffey
Hollow Road, Osage Fork at Auburn Road, Mountain Creek at Kinfolk
Road and Osage Fork at Highway J.
Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
