Flood Warning issued June 7 at 8:39PM CDT until June 9 at 9:00AM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The National Weather Service in Kansas City/Pleasant Hill has
issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri…

Blackwater River near Blue Lick affecting Cooper and Saline
Counties.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Blackwater River near Blue Lick.

* WHEN…From late tonight to Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 24.0 feet, Cropland and pastures along the river
flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:45 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 16.4 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage just
after midnight tonight to a crest of 25.8 feet tomorrow morning.
It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow morning.
– Flood stage is 24.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
