Tracking another sunny and crisp day before muggier weather returns this weekend

TODAY: Wednesday brings another bright and sunny day, with highs in the low 80s. Today's UV of 10 means sunburns are possible in as little as 20 minutes. Winds are light and from the southeast.

TONIGHT: Clear skies remain overnight, allowing temperatures to once again fall into the 50s; however, we won't be as cool as Wednesday morning by daybreak on Thursday.

EXTENDED: Thursday is the first chance at a few spot showers and thunderstorms in the west near Hwy 65 in the afternoon, but most will stay dry with highs in the mid-80s. Humidity remains relatively low Thursday, but south winds on Friday bring more humidity and better rain chances. We should see a dry morning, but thunderstorms are likely in the afternoon and evening. Rain chances continue through the weekend, but it appears some dry time will be possible, especially on Saturday, as we may end up somewhat between waves aloft. It's still early, so stay tuned to the forecast for updates regarding timing, placement, and intensity of rainfall over the weekend. Temperatures look like they could remain warm and paired with high humidity; however, rain chances may alleviate this heat potential. Either way, muggy conditions are likely.
