Man seriously hurt in motorcycle crash in Miller County

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 54-year-old Barnett man was seriously hurt after a motorcycle crash in Miller County just before 4 p.m. Monday.

According to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the man was riding a 2012 Kawasaki in the 150 block of Route Y near Eldon when he tried to avoid another vehicle and overturned.

The man was taken to Lake Regional Hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.

The report states the man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The motorcycle was totaled.
