Downtown Columbia restaurant set to close, new one to replace it

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Sycamore Restaurant in downtown Columbia will close on May 29, according to a post on social media.

According to the post, the owners are "moving on to the next phase of their lives" and will be closing Sycamore, with an employee hoping to reopen it at a new location. There is limited information on the new location.

While Sycamore is closing at 800 E. Broadway, Murry's Restaurant is planning to open "Downtown Murry's" in that same space, according to a separate social media post. They are anticipating opening the new location to open in the fall.
