Tracking a few storms through this evening, sunny Wednesday

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with a few storms before midnight. Lows in the mid-40s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and comfortable with highs in the upper 60s.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking a nice, quiet stretch following storms that could bring small hail to areas along and south of I-70 through sunset. Spotty showers diminish by or before midnight, leaving us with gradually clearing skies heading into Wednesday. Wednesday looks bright and comfortable as highs reach the mid-60s. Thursday will be dry to start, with a chance at a few showers as a weak system pulls through with a front settling to our south on Friday. We'll be cooler behind this weak front, with highs in the lower 60s on Friday. Rain chances are possible across southern Missouri into Friday evening, but the weekend looks great as sunshine returns Saturday with highs in the low to mid-60s. We'll be warmer on Sunday as winds become more southerly, as temperatures reach the low 70s. We'll be tracking another front that will bring a chance at rain and storms between Sunday night and Monday, but at this point any severe weather threat is looking low.
