Flood Warning issued April 18 at 10:49AM CDT until April 21 at 2:00AM CDT by NWS St Louis MO

…The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Missouri…

Moreau River near Jefferson City.

River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 24 hours.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Moreau River near Jefferson City.

* WHEN…From this afternoon to late Monday night.

* IMPACTS…At 23.5 feet, Near this height, Walnut Acres Road near
North Moreau Creek will likely need to be closed. This road is
18.3 river miles upstream of the gage.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 14.2 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
this afternoon to a crest of 24.1 feet tomorrow morning. It will
then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening.
– Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
