Tracking a stretch of sunny and cool weather through the weekend

TODAY: I'm tracking clouds and rain exiting throughout the morning hours as temperatures start in the mid-40s. By the afternoon hours, mostly sunshine is expected with breezy northerly winds at 15-20 mph and gusts up to 25 mph, which will keep temperatures from warming up much past the upper 50s.

TONIGHT: I'm tracking a clear and chilly night as winds blow out of the northwest at 5-10 mph. By the end of the night, temperatures will drop into the mid to upper 30s, potentially causing a frost for some.

EXTENDED: I'm tracking another sunny day ahead on Sunday as temperatures warm into the mid to upper 60s and northerly winds continue. This dry and sunny weather is expected to persist throughout the first half of the week, leading to a gradual warmup each day. Temperatures on Monday afternoon will get into the low 70s, and by Wednesday, low 80s are expected. Warmer weather will persist into the end of the week, but more chances of showers and storms will arrive by Thursday and Friday.
