Flood Warning issued April 17 at 9:20PM CDT until April 18 at 8:30AM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

* WHAT…Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is
occurring.

* WHERE…A portion of central Missouri, including the following
county, Cooper.

* WHEN…Until 830 AM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 918 PM CDT, emergency management reported flooding through
southern portions of Cooper County, including along Highway
5, Highway B, Highway W. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
the warned area.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Pilot Grove, Otterville, Bunceton, Prairie Home, Wooldridge
and Clifton City.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
